About me:
George Green FC has been a big part of my life for over six years—my eldest son joined in 2019, and I became more actively involved in 2021 when I started coaching my younger son’s team at U7 level. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved both on and off the pitch, especially behind the scenes managing admin and making sure our kids have a game to play every week.
I studied Sports Science and Coaching at university, which included gaining my Level 1 Football Coaching Certificate, along with other sport-related qualifications. I’ve also been a swimming teacher and coach for over 20 years—something I’m still incredibly passionate about. I strongly believe that every child should have the opportunity to take part in sport—it’s vital for both their physical and mental wellbeing.
George Green FC means a lot to me. I love how inclusive we are and how we work hard to keep fees as low as possible so that more families can access grassroots football.

I’ve been with George Green in a coaching capacity for a few years now and have had the joy of seeing several of our kids progress through the year groups and grow as individuals and as a team. Coaching means a lot to me and I am looking forward to several more successful seasons at George Green.
I run community coaching sessions as well as taking on a team this year, I’ve been involved with George Green on and off for several years, and had the honour of coaching several teams historically. I’m really enjoying watching the kids learn and progress, and drawing on my own experience in playing in the Thames Valley, I’m looking forward to several successful years to come.
I have a son that plays for George Green and stepped up to be one of the coaches for the teams this year. Being an avid football fan and following the mighty Chelsea FC, I’ve been involved in grassroots football since I was a child – having played for and been involved in several clubs in and around the Thames Valley area.
About me:
I’m Tom i have been involved with the club since my son was in the first under 6 team, which seems a long time ago now, 9yrs I think.
I started off has a helpful parent – doing the tea stall, goals etc then took the team over as manager and I’m looking forward to taking the team through u15s. George Green Juniors means a lot to me which is why I have put myself forward a club secretary and kit person. Professionally I am a teacher, teaching Design and Technology, Engineering and Art and Design. I am looking forward to helping George Green develop and to working with you all to help it succeed.
About me:
I have been around George Green since 1988 where there were no clubs or anything for us to do as kids. It was pretty boring.
My husband and son have been part of George Green FC for a few years. I can’t say I live and breathe football, but my husband and son are a big part of the club, so I have had to be a fast learner! For work I run my Dads Special Effects company with my sister and have been there for 15 years.
